As it’s a film about people flying in a hot air balloon, it would be featured a lot in the elements that needed to be created for the social campaign. I scrubbed the film for the clearest and largest image of the hot air balloon and screengrabbed it. I then created a 3D model as close as possible and projected the image of the hot air balloon onto the model. That way, I could rotate it slightly, giving it enough feeling of life and movement rather than a static image that moves upwards.
